Our commitment
Working at heights, done properly
Premier Clean follows the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and the Managing the Risk of Falls at Workplaces Code of Practice.
Our Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for Working at Heights sets out how we plan, control and review every high-risk task. Our team is led by owner Phil Sweeney, who makes sure every project meets national safety standards.

How we manage risk
Four layers of safety on every high-risk job

Planning and preparation
• Site-specific inductions covering site rules, emergency plans and no-go zones.
• Exclusion zones and pedestrian barricades to protect the public.
• Pre-work toolbox meetings to identify and communicate hazards.

Training and supervision
• General Construction Induction Cards (White Cards) for high-risk staff.
• Competency training in ladder safety, fall arrest systems and EWP operation.
• New starters and new equipment always under an experienced supervisor.

Risk control measures
• Industrial-grade ladders, set at a 4-to-1 angle, secured top and bottom, and never used in wet or windy conditions.
• Full-body harnesses and rated anchors when fall arrest is required.
• EWPs set up with stabilisers and outriggers on stable ground, with a dedicated observer.

Emergency management
• First-aid-trained staff on site, including resuscitation.
• A rescue plan and observer in place before any high-risk task starts.
• Ready access to emergency services and site emergency plans.
